They did an amazing job and were very thorough, explaining everything clearly and making sure I was at ease the whole time. Southern Smiles is hands down the best dental office I’ve been to. From the moment I walked in, the front desk was friendly and the whole place had a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Dr. Shakally was thorough, professional, and made sure I understood everything about my treatment plan. Irma, the dental assistant, was incredible. She has such a warm presence and made the entire appointment feel easy and stress-free. You can tell she’s experienced and genuinely cares about her patients. Would highly recommend, staff and dentists were amazing! They made it clear that they care about tooth health and that you are comfortable the whole time. I've been taking my mom here for the past year for extensive dental work after going almost 20 years without seeing one due to her fear of dentists, they were amazing and comforted her and made her comfort their number 1 priority. Dr. Shakally is understanding as he knows exactly what it is like as he himself had bad teeth, so he knows the fears that patients may have and how to reassure them that everything will be ok. Mom's still getting used to her new healthy mouth but she is doing much better. She lives with less pain and also less headaches. It has been wonderful having a dentist who actually cares and does a great job. A final shout out to Dr. Shakally, Irma for excellent translating help, and Lisa for always reassuring my mom. -Karen M
