Dr. Monzer Shakally, DDS, born and raised in Damascus, Syria, was exiled at 17 and became a refugee in Cairo, Egypt. He relocated to Des Moines, Iowa, completed high school, and earned a Bachelor’s in Evolutionary Biology and a DDS from the University of Iowa. Passionate about organized dentistry, he serves on the Council on Government Affairs for the Arizona Dental Association and is a LEAD Program Graduate. Dr. Shakally enjoys working out at Mountainside Gym, hiking with his wife Maddy, and spending time with friends. He is outgoing and loves meeting new people; be sure to say hi at your next visit!
